Thank you for taking the time to stop by this website to learn more about Goodwill.

Welcome!

When many people think of Goodwill, they think of our donation stations and stores and recognize our “Smiling G” signs. If you haven’t made a donation or shopped recently, please check us out! We offer a convenient place to donate your gently used items, and the best thrift stores in San Antonio. Many shoppers compare our stores to some of the better discount stores. You’ll find name brand items for a fraction of the cost. And remember, every dollar you spend funds job training and placement programs. Also, your donations are tax deductible!

Some of you may have noticed (or we hope stopped by) the Goodwill Job Help Centers located with our stores and open to the public. We are on the frontlines to help you find, qualify for and get the job and career you want. We touched the lives of more than 18,000 people in 2003, helping them change their lives through the power of work.

Yes, we continue to break down barriers to employment for people with physical or mental disabilities, but our task has grown. We now work on behalf of the unemployed and underemployed, developing the pride and independence that comes with earning a paycheck. Goodwill is that and much more.

So now that you are visiting the website, I invite you to learn more about Goodwill first hand. Visit one of our stores. Stop in at a Job Help Center. Talk to the people who work there and find out how your support of Goodwill is doing so much good. We appreciate the trust you place in us to make the best use of your donations. With your support, we are helping change lives through the power of work!
