Deaf Link Receives SATAI Award
The 2004 San Antonio Technology Accelerator Initiative (SATAI) Gala, "Stars of Innovation", was held November 17, 2004 at the San Antonio Marriott Hotel. Judge Nelson Wolff gave the opening welcome and presented the Stars of Innovation Awards.
The evening was filled with awards that salute the spirit of innovation and creation of technologies in San Antonio, both past and present. Individuals or companies with a connection to San Antonio who are innovators, inventors and those who have provided significant scientific or technological advances that have had a social or economic impact on the world were honored. The Gala presented inductees into the SATAI Innovators Hall of Fame and endeavored to encourage continued innovative efforts of the citizens of the community who are involved in the scientific, technological and innovative processes.
Deaf Link, Inc. was honored as one of the "Emerging Stars". Other
recipients of this award included Biomedical Development Corp., Incell Corp.,
Medport Inc. Traumatec, Inc., Biomedical Enterprises, Inc. and Xilas Medical
Inc.
