Deaf Link supports San Antonio area with AHAS alerts during Winter Storm.

A WINTER STORM WARNING CONTINUES FOR MOST OF SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS THROUGH 6 PM THIS EVENING. A STRONG COLD FRONT HAS MOVED THROUGH ALL OF SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS EARLY THIS MORNING. TEMPERATURES ARE PLUNGING AND WILL FALL BELOW FREEZING ACROSS MOST AREAS AND REMAIN SO TODAY. A MIX OF FREEZING RAIN, SLEET, AND SNOW IS EXPECTED. ICE ACCUMULATIONS UP TO 1/10 OF AN INCH WITH ISOLATED HIGHER AMOUNTS IN THE WARNING AREA COULD BRING SIGNIFICANT IMPACTS TO AREA ROADWAYS. ALSO, STRONG NORTHERLY WINDS OF 25 TO 30 MPH WILL CREATE HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS AND BRING WIND CHILL VALUES DOWN TO THE SINGLE DIGITS AND TEENS FOR MUCH OF THE AREA.
